This is a redraw of one of my earliest works since I've joined DA, and one I was pretty partial to, to begin with.
[And I've just realised this is vaguely reminiscent of Viria's style, colouring-wise. Which is unintentional, because I use what my eyes find pleasing and there's only so much you can do with Sexy's clothes. I really didn't want to change them.]
Yes, there's a big differenece between my latest drawings and the first ones. I a. draw a lot b. practice a lot my colouring and c. concentrate and use references for poses and clothes. Whereas this could've probably been done in 2hrs or less by more capable artists, it took me a whole day. I don't copy, I don't trace, I don't just use templates or bases and stuff, the process is long and still difficult for me and far messier and you can probably tell upon closer inspection.
So, I think I've improved.
Needless to repeat just how MUCH I ADORE Sexy. She's the absolute best and a bloody brilliant, quirky badass. She's our TARDIS
The botched attempt at Gallifreyan writing is based on the wonderful job Lewiscrook did [link] The script would mean Me and you. I was torn between using this or "Sadness" but hey... No1 Companion.
I have a simplified version of this (without the Gallifreyan script) in my shop over at society6. There's also a laptop skin this time [link]
love those starsssss
Amazing work!
