Too big a crown

Ok, so this was a piece I started working on a few months back.

I had plans for this particular design.

Plans that took a plunge out of the window once I realised this bastard has a really difficult face and I chose a weird reference picture in the first place.

Anyway, I woke up this morning and decided to give it a go, since I've been finding portraits easier to draw lately. Took me about 1 hour, swearing aside.
